From an idea of three mayors of the municipalities of Jülich, Niederzier and Titz, the heart of the Rhenish mining district is growing in structural change: the Brainergy Park. The company was founded in 2014 – at that time still under the name Entwicklungsgesellschaft Campus Merscher Höhe mbH. On the 52-hectare site and with an innovative special area of around 7 hectares, forward-looking projects are being developed in the fields of “new energies” and “energy transition”.
