Schools

There are five elementary school, four secondary schools, one vocational college, two special schools and one youth welfare school in the city of Jülich. Educational diversity has been a top priority since the time of Konrad Heresbach. In the 16th century, he was the prince’s tutor at the court of the Duke of Jülich-Kleve-Berg, who as a humanist stood for his commitment to tolerance – to which the town of Jülich is still committed today.
