Indeland/District of Düren

“No man is an island” as the saying goes – and this also applies to cities. Jülich has been part of the district of Düren since 1972 and is the second largest of the 15 municipalities after the district town. In addition to the administrative structure, there is also the inter-municipal regional development project Indeland, which aims to create a master plan for the time after the end of mining and to enhance the region’s landscape.
